In early 2005, Craig Carapelho (Team Vision’s CEO) announced his partnership with generational marketing expert, Phil Goodman, in Genergraphics®. Genergraphics specializes in generational research, marketing campaign development, web site development and online marketing. The company holds a process-patented formula for generational database segmentation and data mining. Most recently, Genergraphics introduced a proprietary media ratings system which offers our clients the ability to buy radio and television schedules that are highly targeted by generations. Craig Carapelho moved to Hawaii from the East Coast at the age of 19 to pursue his love of surfing and to attend The University of Hawaii. In 1997, after a five-year career at one of Hawaii’s largest advertising agencies, Craig launched Team Vision, a full-service marketing and technology agency. He now has over 15 years of experience in the advertising and technology industries, and his company is recognized in Hawaii as the #1 graphic design firm, #5 advertising agency, and #4 web development company.

To Phil Goodman and the members of his company, demographics are not as important as strategies based on the psychology of marketing. Some refer to this as Genergraphics®, but it's really keen observations and street-smart experience. And as the acknowledged leader in this discipline, Phil certainly offers a wide array of impressive credentials. He began his deep involvement in advertising and marketing in 1955 and, in 1974, formed Western Media Corporation, a media and marketing firm specializing in the hospitality industry.

It was during the mid-1980s that Phil observed a subtle change in consumer media use and spending patterns. His interest increased as these patterns became more distinctly different from traditional ones.
On an extremely practical level, Phil uncovered, defined and began to document these differences as early as 1987. In 1995 he opened the Boomer Marketing Research Center in San Diego, followed soon after by Generation Transitional Marketing. Today, Phil Goodman is considered one of the foremost experts on the Baby Boom generation -- the most active group of American consumers, over 77 million strong.

Phil has counseled the FOX Television Network, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and Hotel/Motel Management Magazine on Boomer marketing. He is also a special consultant to numerous radio, television and print media, as well as a variety of hotel chains and retail accounts. He has also done extensive research for the Ford Motor Company.

His book, Boomers: The Ageless Generation, is required reading in many college and university courses. Using research and actual business experiences relating to the Boomer, Phil has defined an entire litany of straightforward, down to earth marketing techniques.

A Mobile Marketing Company

Team Vision’s CEO, Craig Carapelho, recently announced his partnership in a mobile marketing and application development company named Kanvys. Carapelho has partnered with Cory Kimura who is a proven leader in Hawaii’s technology industry and whose past experience includes the position of CEO of Keystroke Communications, one of Hawaii’s first Internet Service Providers. Most recently Kimura was a partner in The Mills Group, a Hawaii-based investment company, where he managed investments ranging from real estate to technology. Carapelho brings to the table his fifteen years of experience in marketing and technology as well as the resources of his eleven year old full-service marketing and technology agency.

Cory Kimura is a co-founder of Kanvys, a Hawaii based holding company investing in emerging technologies. Cory has been involved in developing the Hawaii technology industry for over 15 years. His first technology venture was as CEO of Keystroke Communications, one of Hawaii’s first ISP’s and web development companies. Keystroke developed the first web sites for some of Hawaii’s largest corporations including Servco Hawaii ‘s Toyota dealerships, Castle & Cooke, and Hyatt Regency Waikiki. After the sale of Keystroke Communications, Cory became a Partner at the Mills Group, a Hawaii based Investment Company., where he used a hands on approach in managing investments. These investments ranged from E Global Finance (a partnership between The Mills Group and Jay Shidler), a credit tenant lease trading platform for institutional investors, to Maui Lani Partners, a 1000-acre master planned golf course residential community located in Kahului, Maui, where Cory was deeply involved in all development issues ranging from Entitlements, Land Planning, Engineering and Construction of this community.
With his wealth of experience in developing and managing investments for companies of wide diversity, Cory has now decided to concentrate his efforts in an industry he is most passionate about, Emerging Computer Technologies.

One of the first ventures Kanvys is investing in is Kanvys Mobile -- an application developer for mobile handsets.

Cory balances his spare time between his two loves, his family (sons Holden, Ryder, Hunter and his wife Karen), and keeping pace with the ever evolving Information Technology industry.
