Honua Kai Resort & Spa – #HKMemories Social Media Campaign.

Located on Maui’s renowned Kaanapali North Beach, Honua Kai Resort and Spa is a luxury condominium resort featuring  1-3 bedroom suites and  first-class hotel services like housekeeping, front-desk check-in, full-service concierge and bell service.  Team Vision is responsible for all of the resort’s marketing programs and for consistently creating new and innovative online and offline campaigns. For the campaign featured below, we developed a fully integrated hashtag promotion titled #HKMemories which ran in both online and offline advertising media.  The obejective of the campaign was to get readers to post their favorite Honua Kai memories on one of our social media platforms with the tag #HKMemories.

This creative campaign was designed to create a mass-online marketing presence  for Honua Kai Resort  through viral exposure of the #HKMemories posts.  By sharing their favorite memories and experiences from their stay at Honua Kai Resort, users are also promoting the Honua Kai brand in a positive and uplifting manner to their friends, family and others on their networks. A series of ads were developed by Team Vision which ran on Facebook, Instagram and Google Plus  paid and organic programs as well as via remarketing ads.  The #HKMemories campaign was also extended to national print advertising campaigns, e-newsletters and other marketing venues.  In addition, onsite collateral was developed to support the hashtag campaign, including stickers that were given out to guests at check-in.
