Hawai’i Package Design
Waialua Estate offers premium chocolate, coffee, and cacao products grown in the nutrient-rich volcanic soil near O’ahu’s North Shore and manufactured here in Hawai’i. For this project, Team Vision Marketing was hired by the Dole Corporation to design the packaging for Waialua Estate’s brand-new roasted cacao nibs. An eye-catching, clean, and minimalistic design was conceived to convey the product’s key messaging, like “freshly roasted” and “Grown by Waialua Estate on Oahu’s North Shore,” in a concise and focused manner. This sophisticated design also communicates to consumers that the quality of the product is enough to sell itself, without the reliance on using flashy colors and distracting visuals to stand out on the store shelves.
